Gunaah marks the directorial debut of Amol Shetge and the return of the Raaz team, Dino Morea, Bipasha Basu, and Ashutosh Rana. A word of advice to Mr. Shetge...if he wants to make an impact as a director, following the ripping-off-Hollywood trend and picking a story as old as the hills (the good cop against the corrupt system scenario) will surely not get him anywhere. In this case, the 'source of inspiration' is the George Clooney/Jennifer Lopez flick Out of Sight, which wasn't all that great of a film itself let alone one worth remaking.
