Awaarapan is a 2007 Bollywood film from the makers of one of the biggest musical hits, Woh Lamhe. It is the first Indian and Pakistani joint production film. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Shriya Saran and Mrinalini Sharma. Awarapan released in India on June 29, 2007 under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie, directed by Mohit Suri, was produced by Vishesh Films as well as a Pakistani production house.
The movie was given clearance for screening in Pakistan by the Pakistan Film Censor Board and was released on 6 July 2007. The movie was moderate at boxoffice but became cult classic movie and Emraan's performance was appreciated by audience and critics
